Tuesday, April 4 is Library Giving Day, a one-day fundraising event to help support Monroe County Public Library.
Libraries help transform lives. For education, jobs or lifelong learning, the resources at your public library can help you create the story of your life. Friends like you fund all library programming, support the VITAL literacy program, the Indiana Room, and provide extra books, music, and movies for the Library’s heavily used collections. Your library continues to evolve to deliver new services that connect closely with patron’s needs, and to be a resource for people of any age to find what they need to improve their quality of life. The new Southwest Branch will open on June 9 providing even more convenient access to our community to all the library resources you value!
“The work that your staff does to engage with Bloomington teens in a safe environment is impressive! My child absolutely loved the Zombie Prom! Thanks for thinking of unique ideas like this. The fact that you can make hanging out at the library on a Saturday night cool is amazing.” --Library Patron
We know how much libraries give to us. Library Giving Day is a good day to show how much we care for our libraries.
If you believe in the power of your local public library, please support it with a gift in honor of Library Giving Day.
