For more than 200 years, Monroe County Public Library has evolved to meet the changing needs of our community. You can provide critical support to the life-changing work of your public library.

Your generous gift to the Friends Annual Fund Drive:

• Creates a vibrant, dedicated Teen Space at each MCPL location where teens can relax, read, game, and explore creative programs in a safe, welcoming space designed just for them.
• Connects families to early learning through sensory-friendly story times and bilingual materials, creating inclusive experiences for children of all abilities and backgrounds.
• Brings the library to underserved neighborhoods through the Bookmobile and Outreach Van, delivering books, resources, and programming to schools, senior centers, and rural areas throughout Monroe County. Look for a new Bookmobile in 2026!
• Expands digital equity and job readiness by offering free public computers and Wi-Fi, plus technology workshops and resume help to empower job seekers and learners.
• Cultivates community and sustainability through the Seed Library, giving patrons access to free vegetable, herb, and flower seeds to grow gardens, learn about food systems, and share harvests.
